student and university voice
Our app enables students to anonymously submit and support ideas to improve the university; to track the status of ideas and see related feedback from the university and SU.
Enlitened helps amplify existing student representation systems, putting student voice for the broader student population right at the heart of university decision making’
A core part of the value of Enlitened is its appeal to a diverse range of students, which supported by on-campus activity, ensures underrepresented student groups can be listened to.
Enlitened enables universities to engage with any student segment, through targeted communications within the app.
During our pilot, 80% of users agreed or strongly agreed that Enlitened helps underrepresented student groups get their voices heard.
The university can customise the thresholds that trigger specific actions from existing university representation structures. This ensures workload for the university, SU and course reps is managed, and student expectations are realistically set.
As a highly visible and engaging amplifier of student voice, Enlitened helps create a more engaged and satisfied student body.
“As Enlitened rolls out across the whole university, I am convinced it will be genuinely transformative. It gives us a leap forward in proactive approachable support for students, transforms conversation with our student community, and is a major shift in the timeliness and detail of the data we have to improve the whole student experience.”

“It can be difficult trying to measure student satisfaction with email questionnaires. This new approach is great because it’s instant and constantly being updated. Between us, the student union and university we can work to address issues in real-time.”

“The Student Room team have spent 18 years supporting students online. We hope that their Enlitened programme can help future generations of students have the best possible university experience and we are happy to be exploring ways in which Student Minds and The Student Room can work together in the future.”
